FOOD PACKED
FOOD VOUCHERS
We have distributed food vouchers and cash packages to the people of Sylhet allowing them to feed their families with nutritious food. These vouchers we given to poorer families with preference given to families with young children.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Throughout the holy month of Ramadan 2019 we have engaged in the duty of food parcel distribution within the Sylhet district. We managed to successfully hand out 300 plus food packages amongst the poor thanks to the overwhelming donations we received.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
The image above shows a fortunate young man who has been given a life changing opportunity. The young person is an orphan who has no formal / informal schooling system available. Through our intervention he is successfully on his way to completing his "Metriculation" / (HNC) and has aspirations of attending university where he hopes to train as a teacher.
BLOOD DONNATION
In 2019 we sponsored the Blood Donation programme through Red Crescent to bring awareness in the society. The blood donation programme have several centres throughout Bangladesh taking donations and using them for people in critical care requiring blood transfusions. We have also provided financial support to individual requiring eye care including minor operations for cataracts.
WEDDING SUPPORT
The image above shows an emotional father who reached out to HMAF for financial assistance for his daughters wedding. Through our donations he was able to fund his daughters wedding which was a fantastic celebration.
HOUSE REPAIRS
As well as our housing project and the 2 dwellings we have built the foundation has also funded and assisted in the repairs of local housing in Sylhet. These repairs mainly included roofing fixtures ensuring families has secure and durable roofs to keep them protected.
CATARACT EYE SURGERY
This Female came to HMAF office for help with her Carteract eye operation. HMAF sponsored her whole surgery including her after surgery medication and care.
HOSPITALITY SUPPORT
Above image of a father of four who was admitted to private clinic but was unable to pay his treatment HMAF stepped in and paid his Medical bill.
